A man with a big chest yet a small mind.
Of course, she couldn't say that. Honestly, he was already better than most bosses. Her current department head only gave orders without caring about execution; at least LEO taught her how to write each part, which was rare.
The man bent over his desk and casually asked:
"Are you really getting a divorce?"
Qi Sui was stunned for a moment, then said, "Mm."
"Can you bear to let go?" He asked again, ambiguously.
Qi Sui lowered her head, unconsciously fiddling with the corner of a document page, and whispered, "Yes, I can."
She was sincere.
LEO believed that immediately.
Qi Sui couldn't hide things; her emotions were always written on her face.
And now was no different.
Her face showed no reluctance, nor the "pretend" affection he had glimpsed before. She wasn't deceiving herself now.
But he still felt unwilling.
With an unexplained emotion, he said:
"But that's six years."
From a woman's 22nd year to her 28th, a complete six years.
He wasn't unwilling; he was aggrieved.
But even he felt his grievance was unreasonable.
"So what?" Qi Sui reflexively retorted. "It's just six years."
"Those six years to you—" the man said with difficulty, "were very important."
"Yeah, they were important."
Qi Sui sighed, propping herself up with her arms, leaning back lazily.
"But I don't think I was very happy."
LEO felt even more aggrieved.
"If you weren't happy, why did you stay together for six years?" He paused, not continuing.
Qi Sui smiled. "I was really stupid back then."
"No, you weren't," LEO said.
Qi Sui asked, "You don't even know me. How do you know I'm not stupid?"
How could LEO say this?
I know you. Not only do I know you, but I also have a crush on you. I shamelessly wanted to intrude on your marriage, and after you called me a 'bitch,' I didn't feel ashamed; instead, I secretly rejoiced.
He swallowed these words over and over again, the slight itch in his throat turning into pain.
He didn't say them.
A person's value lies in self-respect.
And once these self-deprecating words were spoken, Qi Sui would slap him twice.
Most importantly, he didn't want to insult her with such words.

Sui Sui: (just looking)
LEO: How about I just confess directly?
Sui Sui: (staring at chest)
LEO: Like the tie?
LEO still doesn't know what he missed.
