Chapter 13: Cuckold Slave 13 (2)

She had hardly ever used such products. The only similar thing she remembered was the hair wax Qian Jin often used in the morning.

That wax required a blow dryer afterward, but Qian Jin, for some reason—perhaps he liked a clean, sharp look—always smoothed it on without using a dryer, which is why Sister S said he looked like he'd been licked by a cow.

"Pfft, pfft."

Her hair wasn't set, but her face got a layer first.

Though it had no special smell, the sensation of liquid spraying made Qi Sui instinctively close her eyes.

She heard the click-clack of shoes, and the small bottle was taken from her hand.

"That's not how you use it."

The man leaned in slightly, words brief: "Close your eyes. Let go."

She opened her eyes to see him. He tilted his head slightly, leaning down to look at her face.

On LEO's face was the most striking feature: a continuous, undulating nose like a mountain range, forming a small bridge at the intersection of light and shadow.

His gaze was focused. His lips were pressed together, the corners slightly upturned, his emotions faint.

It reminded Qi Sui inexplicably of that rainy night, when LEO asked softly why no one had come to pick her up.

His expression then had been just like now.

Only his lips were downturned, adding a touch of dim melancholy.

Qi Sui closed her eyes.

In her heart, seawater rushed back, waves surging forward with unstoppable force.

She felt a faint mist land on her face as LEO sprayed from top to bottom on her explosive bangs. When he straightened up, he let out a soft chuckle.

Qi Sui felt an inexplicable irritation.

The scene had completely reversed.

She suspected LEO held a grudge—because she had once applied medicine to him in the same posture, and now he was mocking her explosive bangs.

She opened her eyes and saw the soft strands of his hair.

His hair looked black and thick, not neatly defined but softly layered, with no signs of careful styling.

Because it wasn't styled, it was natural, falling over his brows as he leaned forward, yet conveniently not blocking his view.

Qi Sui thought the texture must be excellent.

She used her fingers to part the strands, smoothing them in the direction of the hair. The strands softened and flattened, easy to manage. Then, as they came into contact with the air, they stiffened slightly. Only when they obediently stayed at her cheeks did Qi Sui stop adjusting.

In her line of sight, the man's figure hadn't moved away.

Qi Sui took a deep breath, looked up at him, and met his misty eyes. She asked nervously, "Now... how is it?"

LEO squinted, scrutinizing her fair face carefully, then nodded decisively, "Not bad."

"You look very well-behaved."

What kind of strange comment was that?

LEO was clearly not the type to give compliments easily.

But Qi Sui chose to believe him.

In her view, his taste wasn't bad.

While other male colleagues wore simple, comfortable casual suits or stiff, formal suits, he dressed in colorful outfits every day.

Like a flashy peacock.

Today was no different.

Qi Sui's gaze traveled up from his neatly pressed pants.

The light brown belt with a diamond pattern sharply divided his figure into two, the proportions lethally precise. The trousers were ordinary, but his upper body wore a dark green silk shirt that fit closely without any embarrassing exposure.

Qi Sui was curious.

She had seen many men who, when wearing snug clothing, revealed awkward body lines, so beyond social distance, she usually avoided looking below a man's chest.

She either stared at his shoulders or his hair. This had led many to say she looked dull and listless.

But LEO's silk shirt highlighted his physique perfectly without any social awkwardness.

She was very, very curious.

How would a dignified peacock handle this?

Wear an undershirt under the shirt?

Wouldn't that be hot? And too many layers would make him look bulky.

Or did he use some other method?

Her gaze unconsciously fell on LEO's chest again, as if trying to bore a hole there.

LEO raised an eyebrow.

"I asked you before: what exactly are you looking at?"
