"I Don't Want
This was Song Guanyu's first visit to a temple. Wearing a face mask and dressed very inconspicuously, she blended into the crowd, unnoticed. She drove for two hours alone to get here. The moment she stood before the temple gates, a profound sense of peace she had never felt before washed over her.
She crossed the steps in front of the temple and slowly walked deeper inside. Passing by red walls and black tiles, the sound of bells rang in her ears. The further she went, the more at ease she felt.
She had heard from some friends in the industry that this temple was very efficacious.
In the past, she believed in Buddhism but had never worshipped, because Song Guanyu had never had anything to ask for. But once a person has something to seek, these things become comfort.
