He rushed straight toward him
She went up the stairs to the third floor. On the right was a small living room measuring 4 meters by 3 meters. To the left of the entrance was a large double-door refrigerator. But the fridge wasn't plugged in, because the living room had no electric heater on, and the indoor temperature was 0°C—a natural giant fridge.
Lin Mo, wearing a thick down jacket over her coral fleece pajamas, was methodically tidying up the living room. The new sofa was placed by the window, facing the front of the train, where the TV cabinet was set up.
The front of the train was made of a large enough glass panel, so placing the TV cabinet there didn't obstruct much of the view. She plugged it in to test it; the demo unit on the cabinet lit up fine, but there was no signal at this time.
That didn't matter much, though. This 85-inch TV could be connected to a laptop as an oversized monitor, perfect for watching movies. Lin Mo stroked the TV frame and thought to herself, "The colors are way better than my projector. I might as well move the projector to the bedroom and watch projections in bed later."
The new sofa was a light beige fabric one, looking soft and cozy. One side had a long chaise lounge, and the main seat was a double seat with room for two throw pillows. The headrest could be adjusted to suit her preference. Leaning back on it felt especially comfortable.
In the corner stood six barrels of water, neatly arranged. She found a pump, skillfully screwed it onto one of the barrels, and pressed lightly. Water flowed slowly into the health pot. After a long day, every bone in her body ached. Brewing a pot of rose and red date tea would be just the thing to relieve fatigue.
