Arranging the Train
On the second floor, Bai Jie was folding bedding. Out of the corner of her eye, she caught a figure at the stairway. Looking up, it was Lin Mo. A smile spread across her face as she called out, "Mo Mo, you're here!"
She waved her hand. "Just in time. Those extra iron bunk beds have nowhere to go."
"Today has really been a test for my shoulders," Lin Mo said, flexing her wrist with a laugh. "I'll expand the train right away—I promise there'll be plenty of space."
After swinging the expansion hammer all day, her arms barely felt like her own.
Bai Jie quickly put down the bedding, walked over, and gently pressed her shoulder. "You look exhausted. Let me give you a massage—it'll help with the soreness."
"It's fine, I can just take meds," Lin Mo muttered, crushing a crystal in her palm.
