The Third Train
The noise from the crowd eventually stirred the zombies. A few zombies, covered in white fur, staggered out from the depths of the alley, their hoarse growls drifting on the cold wind, sending chills down the spine.
A window on the second floor of the train was abruptly pushed open. A middle-aged man poked his head out, face pale, and shouted anxiously to his relatives still dawdling at the entrance of the supermarket and general store: "The zombies are coming! Get on the train fast!"
Panic ensued below the train. Some tried to maintain their composure, continuing to stuff bags, muttering quietly, "What's there to be afraid of? That woman with the fire axe protected us during the day, right? As long as she's here, these few zombies can't get close."
"She's not here! I didn't see her get off earlier!" someone nearby retorted urgently, abandoning the boxes on the ground, grabbing a plastic bag, and sprinting toward the train.
