When she opened the first box, a faint lavender scent wafted out—two handmade soap bars, frozen solid in the sub-zero temperatures.
The second box contained a phone case with a cartoon pattern, plain and unusable; she tossed it casually, landing precisely on the nearby pile of cardboard for recycling.
Next, she opened a large pack of warm patches, with a bit of snow still clinging to the sealed bag. Lin Mo's eyes lit up, and she immediately placed the warm patches on the lower shelf of the daily necessities section.
