In fact, everyone had been traveling north, and before they knew it, night had fallen. The blizzard that had raged all day finally ceased, leaving only a silent, boundless expanse of silver white. Occasionally, the wind would swirl up fine snow dust, silently drifting onto the train windows.

In the dining car on the third floor, the charcoal stove was burning brightly. Orange-red flames danced merrily in the hearth, spreading warmth and the aroma of grilled meat.

"Stop the train, it's time to eat!" Zhou Li shouted.
