Chapter 34: The Female Star Who Sets Up a Wealthy Persona (2)

She clasped her hands together, shook them in front of Su Zhiyi, and sincerely apologized.

Su Zhiyi's eyes seemed magnetic; she couldn't help but glance at Su Zhiyi's eyes under the cap again.

She had never seen such beautiful, perfect eyes in her life.

They were a lovely light brown, with slightly upturned outer corners. She had only a little light makeup, and even without seeing the lower half of her face, she could tell this person must be a stunning beauty.

And... she felt those eyes looked familiar, but she searched her memory and couldn't match them to anyone.

"It's okay. People often get lost staring at me. You can look all you like."

No matter how obscure Su Zhiyi was, she was still a celebrity.

She was used to people's gazes, and the girl's look was friendly, not off-putting.

"Oh, you're really beautiful!" The girl, relieved that Su Zhiyi wasn't offended, began to compliment her sincerely.

Now she openly admired Su Zhiyi's eyes, looking left and right, then voiced her confusion: "I feel like you look a lot like some actress, but I can't remember who."

Su Zhiyi chuckled softly. "Is that so?... My friends often tell me I resemble some celebrity or another."

"I was just saying. Brother Jiang doesn't have any close female friends in the entertainment industry," the girl said. "I was overthinking. I was wondering which actress would come to Brother Jiang's concert, haha..."

She gave a friendly smile. "But you really are beautiful, just like a celebrity. At first glance, I thought you were some actress!"

"Thank you for the compliment."

Su Zhiyi's eyes curved into a smile, like crescent moons.

"You don't have any support items?" The girl noticed Su Zhiyi had come empty-handed and enthusiastically shoved a support fan into her hand. "I made this support fan myself. I made an extra one, and since you seem fated to have it, it's yours!"

Su Zhiyi accepted the fan, flattered.

The girl handed her a finely crafted fan with Jiang Yuanheng's photo and many lace ribbons and decorations—clearly made with great care.

Su Zhiyi took the fan.

Even though she wasn't a Jiang Yuanheng fan, she could truly feel the dedication of his fans.

"Thank you. I didn't bring anything—I don't know what to give you in return..."

She glanced toward the side of the stage and accurately spotted, among several camera operators, the fake paparazzi who had his camera aimed not at the stage but at her.

She looked away, and a bold but free plan came to mind.

"Don't rush off after the concert. I'll give you a surprise as a return gift, okay?"

"It's fine, it's fine. We're both Brother Jiang's fans, so we're family!" the girl said. "You don't need to give me anything in return. I wanted to give it to you."

Su Zhiyi: "No, I can't accept a gift from you without giving something back. Trust me, you'll really like the surprise."

The girl didn't refuse further. "Alright... then I'll look forward to it!"

As Su Zhiyi chatted with the girl, time slipped by, and the concert was about to start.

The girl stopped chatting.

She picked up her phone, opened the camera, waved her glowing support stick, and focused entirely on the stage.

In an instant, the stage went dark, and all the fans in the venue fell silent in unison, until only breathing could be heard.

The accompaniment began, and a clear male voice like a celestial sound rang out.

A dazzling white light fell on the stage. A tall man with strikingly handsome features stood on stage under the light.

The holy white light shone on him, the sequins on his performance outfit glimmering like stars, but they didn't steal the show.

His voice was the most captivating part.

Su Zhiyi's seat was the closest to Jiang Yuanheng.

She didn't know if Jiang Yuanheng did it intentionally or not, but he kept leaning toward her side, most of his glances falling on her, occasionally meeting her eyes before quickly looking away when others might notice.

Jiang Yuanheng's frequent interaction with her side made the girl beside her wildly wave her support stick. "Wow, I've bought front-row tickets before, but Brother Jiang never looked this many times in my direction. Today is so lucky!"

Jiang Yuanheng was too close.

So close that even without relying on his microphone, Su Zhiyi could hear his singing.

Su Zhiyi didn't get lost in Jiang Yuanheng's singing like the fans around her. She calmly looked toward the fake paparazzo.

He poked his head out from behind the camera, pointed at Jiang Yuanheng on stage, made a gesture at her, pulled down his mask, and mouthed two words to her.

"Interact."

She immediately understood. She pushed her baseball cap up a little, revealing most of her face.

When Jiang Yuanheng looked at her again, she raised her hand and waved at him, like a polite, natural greeting between acquaintances.

Jiang Yuanheng paused for a moment, then casually sang a line of lyrics, and when he didn't need to sing, he waved toward Su Zhiyi's direction, causing another excited cheer from the fans around her.

Those bright puppy-like eyes made a wink directly at Su Zhiyi, revealing two little tiger teeth in a smile.

Quite... cute?
