The Literature Editorial Department had six editorial offices, over thirty full-time editors, and seven managers. The atmosphere in the corridor of the literature department always felt so serene, like a big tree with dense foliage. Compared to the magazine department, this one had much deeper roots. It was a department established when the founder created the company; all others were derived from it.
Jenny had to go to the library again. That side was to the east of the literature department; a row of rooms were all libraries, very large in scale, estimated to have at least 100,000 volumes. Today, as Jenny walked to the east side, she suddenly saw two male clerks moving a box of old books. They really couldn't carry it anymore and stopped to rest.
"What are you doing? Does someone need so many materials?"
One of the older clerks turned sideways to let Jenny pass and whispered in complaint: "No, it's all the boss's idea. Since he came back, he's been soaking in these libraries all day doing inventory records." "He gave us a list a while ago and told us to rearrange the positions according to this order," another clerk said.
