050 I Like You
During the New Year, the mall was bustling with people. The two of them, already outstanding in appearance, attracted even more attention. Jiang Shiyu knew Zeng Keqin didn't like being stared at, so he gently held her hand and said in a husky voice, "Let's go."
Zeng Keqin hummed in response, and they went to the underground parking lot. The sky outside was already pitch black. Jiang Shiyu asked, "Hungry?"
Zeng Keqin replied, "Not really." Jiang Shiyu thought she was worried about her family, so he said, "Then I'll take you home."
"Okay."
The warm air in the car made her drowsy. Zeng Keqin looked out the window, a flash of annoyance in her eyes—she regretted being reserved and saying she wasn't hungry; they could have spent more time together. But the words were already out, and taking them back would seem forced. Soon they arrived at the community gate.
"Thank you for today." Zeng Keqin unbuckled her seatbelt and turned her head, only to find Jiang Shiyu staring at her. His dark eyes looked especially deep in the dim light. She was stared at for several seconds.
