My Fake Husband Followed Me to the Underworld
Completed

Synopsis

Di Yao drank the Mengpo Soup but couldn't reincarnate. She looked at the man standing in front of the luxurious small courtyard assigned to her in the underworld, and then at the doorplate hanging on the fence with the names of the residents: "Di Yao, Wei Xunzhou."

Live in the same room, die in the same grave. This man before her must be her husband.

*

Di Yao didn't want her husband to know she had amnesia, so she acted cautiously, afraid of slipping up. But the two were stuck together all day, and mistakes inevitably happened.

She nervously watched Wei Xunzhou, who had rolled up his sleeves to cook in the kitchen, and then looked at the clothes and bed sheets drying in the yard.

"Something's wrong. Why isn't he angry at all?"

When the Mengpo Soup's effect finally wore off, Di Yao realized what was wrong—the husband she had given her whole heart to was a fraud!

Then she learned something even more terrifying: the man who had shared her bed all these days was none other than the dreaded Ghost King of the Underworld!

She found Wei Xunzhou, but he didn't explain anything, only said he would help her reincarnate as she wished. Di Yao was utterly disappointed and left in a huff!

*

Wei Xunzhou originally only intended to repay a debt of gratitude by snatching Di Yao's corpse from her faithless husband and ensuring she left with dignity. He never planned to pretend to be her husband. But when he saw Di Yao's bright eyes, he inexplicably took on the role of "the impersonator."

Fortunately, Di Yao had amnesia and treated him like her real husband, even clinging to his arm and calling him by his courtesy name in a sweet voice. Though he remained cold and reserved on the surface, he had already taken it to heart.

After Di Yao sensed something was wrong, he pretended to be calm, continuing to wash her clothes and cook for her, helping her with whatever she needed, only hoping that his impersonation wouldn't be exposed too soon.

But it was. Watching Di Yao's resolute departing figure, Wei Xunzhou felt at a loss for the first time, his heart a mess and a bloody taste rising in his throat.

*

Di Yao's new life was thriving, but an uninvited guest arrived, and she braced herself for trouble.

"What? Does the Ghost King want to catch me and pull out my tongue or disembowel me?"

But to her surprise, Wei Xunzhou had abandoned his usual aloof demeanor, looking pitiful and speaking plaintively: "I don't have a home anymore. Can my lady take pity on me?"

Di Yao: Hey! Are you getting addicted to being an impersonator?

Pre-order: "The Disobedient Disciple Returns with a CP System"

Yan Chu transmigrated into a poorly written novel as the master of the dark, twisted, and crazy big villain male lead—a cannon fodder who dies for the male lead. Looking at the disciple kneeling on the ground, obediently waiting for his master to drink tea, she ruthlessly splashed the tea of discipleship.

"Stay away from the protagonist for a safe life"—that mantra was no joke. A dark, twisted crazy big villain disciple? No thanks. But his future throne as the demon lord? She wanted it! What she wanted was the throne.

After coaxing her disciple to go cultivate at a celestial sect, Yan Chu lived a life of utmost leisure. But her good fortune didn't last. The infamous demon disciple from the original story suddenly burst into the demon palace, knocking over and destroying all her puppet male concubines.

Yan Chu had just thrown the disciple out when a system dinged in her mind: [Bring him back.]

Yan Chu: ...

Forced by the dog system, Yan Chu had to "gently smile" and accept the disciple's tea of discipleship; reluctantly praise the disciple's completed tasks; insincerely care about the disciple's mental health... What a perfect picture of a kind teacher and good disciple.

But the teacher was not kind, and the disciple was not good. The demon disciple would slaughter a celestial sect one day, bully the demon race the next, and every day he disguised himself as her puppet male concubine, kneeling meekly by her skirt, waiting for her caress.

That was bad enough, but if he tried to climb into his master's bed, he'd only get slapped. Yan Chu's hands hurt, but a flicker of excitement flashed in the disciple's eyes, which then turned to tears as he hugged her. He breathed in her ear, his voice lonely and sad: "I know your kindness to me is fake. But even if it's fake, I can't help being happy. I'd rather you hit and scold me every day than ignore me."

Yan Chu wasn't falling for it. She raised her hand for another slap, but the system issued a new task: [Comfort him.]

Rong Buchi was born a demon, with a perverse nature and arrogant pride, believing no one was worthy of teaching him. But when Yan Chu splashed him with the adulterated tea of discipleship, he was somewhat surprised. He gleefully expected her to be furious, but she only looked down at him with disdain.

He accidentally overheard that his master was about to die, so despite his contempt, he infiltrated a celestial sect and stole their ultimate treasure for her. By the time he finally escaped and returned to the demon palace, his master was not only alive and well, but had taken over his father's position—he had been played.

But the priority was to eliminate the fakes around his master. Since his master disliked him, he'd become her puppet male concubine. He was more than willing.
